This patch will update your installation of Empire II: The Art of War
from Version 1.00 to Version 1.01.

   Please copy the file UPD_E2.EXE to the directory into which you have
installed Empire II, and run it by typing the command "upd_e2" at the
command prompt.

   Note that you will need the Empire II CD-ROM, if you have used the
"minimal installation" option when installing the game.

   Should you ever re-install the game from CD-ROM, you will have to
re-apply this update.
